The tree was donated by a family in New Jersey and happened to withstand the strong winds of Superstorm Sandy. What a fighter! </span></p> <p><span>The Rockefeller tree has always embodied the spirit of the season. This spirit has been captured so beautifully in “The Carpenter’s Gift,” a warm, touching story about giving back.
