This season’s Christmas tree arrived at Rockefeller Center yesterday, marking the 80th anniversary of this holiday tradition. The tree was donated by a family in New Jersey and happened to withstand the strong winds of Superstorm Sandy. What a fighter!
The Rockefeller tree has always embodied the spirit of the season. This spirit has been captured so beautifully in “The Carpenter’s Gift,” a warm, touching story about giving back. If you’re looking for a book to share with your family during the holidays, I highly recommend this one.
